hi all,
Now, I like my music. I like the double bass kick of metal, the bass guitars in jazz, the screaming highs of an electric guitar solo. I like the rich mids of an acoustic guitar player...what I don't like...is my current set of speakers which have just decided to half die. My soundsticks which I've had for like 4 years are deciding to break the sub, so that bass now sounds horrible, and the leads are a bit messed up so that sometimes the speakers turn all the way up or all the way down for no particular reason...scaring the living shit out of my flatmates in the process, I might add. So, question for the audiophiles, what should I replace these with? boston acoustics? logitech? creative? bose are a bit too expensive for me but any recommendations would be awesome.

Look into a set of Klipsch speakers. IF they're not discontinued, look into the Klipsch promedia 2.1's.

i have it for 4 years now. and its grate!
a little expensive but worth the money...
hmm let me go look at my tiger direct order fore my speakers. I have some that are no larger then lets say those food cans that you would use to feed many people and they bary my speakers in my living room.
if you want a smaller one. try Altec Lansing speakers...
